My sunny Sunday long run made me smile today.
Basically found a nice big hill and ran to the bottom of it then had a nice easy-paced run to the top of it. It was a pretty long continuous climb and reasonably steep at points but it was nice to take it steady and not get out of breath. It made for a really pleasurable run, especially at the top where the sun was shining and the views were lovely. I enjoyed seeing the dew evaporate from the grass in little smoky fog-clouds ☺️
Nice to be rewarded with the downhill for most of the way home too 😁

Intervals for a rainy Wednesday night! The dark nights are certainly coming sadly, but I got myself some new high vis bits from provizsports to keep safe, although I’m pretty sure combined with my already colourful outfit my husband thinks I look like a glow in the dark clown 😬
Super happy with my run, 0.5 miles up, 8 X 2mins hard, 1min easy, cool down home. A few up hill sections, a few down and last one the fastest one 🙌🏻

I couldn’t resist a slice of cake, I’d earned it after all! Walked there and came back via the park as I was on call.
