The new carbon rim, tested at GST wind tunnel, uses a hybrid V-shape and a 22 mm internal width that’s optimised for 28–30 mm tyres. You notice it in the steady, planted feel through gusts and in smoother roll at speed.Built to perform — and to lastMade in DT’s European facility, the rims have a refined carbon lay-up and an out-of-the-mold finish so there’s no cosmetic veneer. Every rim is scanned internally to check each carbon layer before assembly. The result is a wider, deeper rim that’s up to 158 g lighter per pair than the previous generation.Hubs, spokes and real-world reliabilityThe hubs are DICUT 180s with 36-tooth Ratchet EXP and SiNC ceramic bearings — light, low-drag and serviceable. Aerolite II spokes keep rotational drag down without fuss.
