Product Description
Ride with more confidence on every road mile. The Shimano CUES ST-U4030 is built to make shifting feel smooth and braking feel controlled, so you can stay focused on the ride. It brings together durability, comfort and easy setup in a tidy flat mount package.Built for dependable riding:CUES is Shimano’s range for mid-grade riding styles, offering simplified compatibility, versatility and durability. This set comes bled with the BR-U6030 calliper and is designed for a 160 mm rotor on flat mount frames.Smooth shifts, clean control:LINKGLIDE technology is made to last, with up to 300% more durability than current Hyperglide drivetrain systems while keeping shifts smooth. The ergonomic short shift arc follows the natural movement of your hand, and the reduced inward shift stroke helps deliver quick, precise gear changes.Braking that feels reassuring:The hydraulic disc brake dual control lever pivots are positioned to improve power and ergonomics when riding on the hoods. The opposed 2-piston design reduces leading effect and helps pads wear evenly for better braking control. Increased pad-to-rotor clearance also helps reduce the chance of rotor drag.Easier fitting and lower friction:A shim-less mounting bracket makes installation and setup quicker. The set comes complete with B05S resin compound pads, Optislick coated cables and silicon greased outer casing to help reduce shift friction and extend service life. It uses Shimano mineral oil only and features an easy bleed, clean hydraulic system.Key Features:ST-U4030 bled with BR-U6030 calliperLINKGLIDE technology for durable, smooth shiftingErgonomic short shift arc for fast, precise gear changesHydraulic disc brake dual control lever for improved power and hood comfortFlat mount frame compatible for 160 mm rotorOpposed 2-piston design for controlled braking and even pad wearIncreased pad-to-rotor clearance to help reduce rotor dragShim-less mounting bracket for quicker installation and setupComes complete with B05S resin compound padsSupplied with Optislick coated cables and silicon greased outer casingEasy bleed hydraulic system, for use with Shimano mineral oil only
