Product Description
Ride with more confidence on every shift and every stop. The Shimano CUES ST-U4030 is built to make everyday riding feel smooth, controlled and easy to live with. It brings together dependable shifting, strong braking and a comfortable hand position, so you can stay focused on the road or trail ahead.Smooth, Sure Shifting:The CUES range is made for mid-grade riding styles, with simplified compatibility, versatility and durability at its core. LINKGLIDE technology is designed to last, offering up to 300% more durability than current Hyperglide drivetrain systems while keeping shifts smooth. The short shift arc follows the natural movement of your hand. The inward shift stroke is reduced too, helping you make quick, precise gear changes with less effort.Confident Braking:The hydraulic disc brake dual control lever has been shaped for a better feel on the hoods. The pivot position is designed to increase power and improve ergonomics, so braking feels natural and reassuring. The flat mount calliper is set up for a 160 mm rotor. Its opposed 2-piston design helps reduce leading effect, while pad wear stays more even for better braking control. Larger pad-to-rotor clearance also helps reduce the chance of rotor drag.Easy to Fit and Maintain:This set comes with a bled ST-U4030 lever and BR-U6030 calliper, plus B05S resin compound pads. The shim-less mounting bracket helps make installation and setup quicker. It also includes Optislick coated cables and silicon-greased outer casing to help reduce shift friction and improve service life. The hydraulic system is easy to bleed and clean, and it is for use with Shimano mineral oil only.Key Features:CUES components designed for simplified compatibility, versatility and durabilityLINKGLIDE technology for long-lasting, smooth shiftingShort shift arc for rapid, precise gear changesHydraulic disc brake lever shaped for improved hood position ergonomicsFlat mount calliper for 160 mm rotorOpposed 2-piston design for better braking controlIncreased pad-to-rotor clearance to help reduce rotor dragShim-less mounting bracket for quicker installation and setupSupplied with B05S resin compound padsIncludes Optislick coated cables and silicon-greased outer casingEasy bleed hydraulic system for use with Shimano mineral oil only
