You get confidence on the descent and finesse at low speeds.Performance you can feelThis brake delivers a noticeable step up in power — about 30% more pressure than the Tech 3. It’s tuned so lever force maps cleanly to brake pressure. That linear response makes modulation simple: you squeeze, the bike slows exactly as you expect. A smaller master-cylinder bore improves hydraulic ratio for stronger, more usable power. The mechanical ratio has also been refined using real riding data to keep the lever feeling natural across the full range of reach and bite-point settings.Control and adjustabilityThe lever shape is reshaped for a better ergonomic advantage. It sits in your fingers and gives a clearer, more usable bite. Reach and bite point are tool-free, so you can fine-tune how the lever engages between runs. There’s 30° of shifter angle adjustment, plus lateral movement on both sides of the master cylinder, so you can place the lever where it feels best. A hinged clamp reduces weight and tidies the cockpit while increasing the reservoir area to lower overall stack height.Caliper and internalsThe caliper is a rigid CNC-machined one-piece unit. That stiffness translates to a solid, direct feel. Pistons are hybrid: a stainless-steel shell for smooth movement and low maintenance, with a phenolic insert to manage heat on long, hard descents. The result is consistent performance when the brakes are pushed.Pads and out-of-the-box performanceAll brakes come with a new racing compound pad. They’re designed to work well straight away with minimal bedding-in and to resist fade more than standard organic pads. You’ll feel stronger stopping without the drama.Fitment and coloursFits post mount using a 9.74 caliper and ships with adapters to suit all mount options. Available for 160, 180, 183, 200, 203 and 220 mm front and rear rotors. Uses standard hose. Compatible with a wider range of current shifter options.
