It delivers maximum stopping power with smooth, natural lever feel and precise modulation — the benchmark choice for gravity and e-bike use.Performance and controlRefined cam and piston systems reduce free lever travel while preserving excellent modulation in the braking zone. Larger hybrid pistons offer superior heat management and provide the largest available piston size for outstanding power and responsiveness. Compared with the Tech 4 V4 brake system, the larger pistons increase the brake ratio by 6%.Design and constructionThe caliper is machined from a single piece to reduce weight and increase stiffness, improving power transfer and control. A secondary guide bush keeps pistons perfectly aligned for super-smooth movement. The revised bore cap is narrower to give extra frame clearance.Maintenance and compatibilityBleeding is easier: a bleed port on the master cylinder body allows servicing without removing the lid.
