Product Description
Ride Further, Carry More:The Silex is built for big days and rougher roads. It gives you the calm, steady feel you want when the route turns loose, loaded, or unknown. With its full carbon frame, wide-range gearing and strong hydraulic brakes, it is ready for adventure without feeling heavy-handed.Built for the Long Way Round:This is a bike that starts with modern mountain bike-inspired geometry, not a road bike compromise. That means a long front end, a short stem and handling that feels confident when the surface turns unpredictable. It is made to stay composed on the road less travelled.Carbon Frame, Real-World Versatility:The entry-level full carbon fibre frame keeps things light and lively, while still feeling ready for the miles. The revised fork design also gives you the option to fit a suspension fork without changing the geometry. Add in multiple mounting points, including five sets of bottle bosses, and the Silex is ready for bags, cages and fenders when the ride asks for more.Smooth, Simple Drivetrain:The SRAM Apex 1x12-speed drivetrain keeps shifting straightforward and gives you a wide range for climbing, cruising and everything in between. It is the sort of setup that lets you focus on the ride, not the gear changes.Confident Stopping Power:Hydraulic disc brakes bring strong, dependable control. With 180mm rotors and a neat flat-mount setup, the braking feels solid and ready for long descents, rough weather and fully loaded riding.Key Features: Full carbon fibre frame with dropped chainstay and clearance for 700x45 mm tyresCarbon fork with cargo mounting points and routing for a dynamo hubModern MTB-inspired geometry with a relaxed head angle for off-road stabilityRevised fork design allows fitment of a suspension fork without changing geometrySRAM Apex 1x12-speed wide-range gravel drivetrainSRAM Apex hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm rotorsCarbon models feature CNCd aluminium Disc Cooler fins to help reduce operating temperaturesMultiple mounting points for cages, bags and fendersReynolds G30 rims for a fast yet durable wheelsetIf you want a bike that makes space for longer rides, bigger plans and quieter roads, the Silex is easy to like.
