Product Description
Ride Further, Explore More:The Silex is built for the long way round. It gives you the confidence to leave the usual route behind and enjoy the quiet roads, rough tracks and everything in between. The carbon frame and MTB-inspired gravel geometry keep the bike feeling steady when the surface turns loose, while still staying sharp and responsive when you want to push on.Built for Adventure:This second-generation frame is designed from the ground up for gravel riding, rather than borrowed from another bike type. It uses long top and head tubes with a short stem for calm, confidence-inspiring handling off-road. The revised fork design also means you can swap to a suspension fork without changing the geometry, so the bike keeps its feel if you decide to add more comfort and control.Ready to Carry the Miles:The Silex has been made with real riding in mind. There are five sets of bottle bosses, along with multiple mounting points for bags, cages and fenders. The full carbon fork also includes mounting points and routing for a dynamo hub, giving you more options for bigger days out and self-supported rides.Brakes and Drivetrain:Shimano GRX brings gravel-focused performance to the Silex, with a 2 x 10 drivetrain, GRX chainset and hydraulic disc brakes for controlled stopping in mixed conditions. 12mm bolt-through axles add to the solid, composed feel on the trail and road alike. It is all there to keep the bike feeling smooth, dependable and ready for whatever the route throws at it.Key Features: Carbon frame with MTB-inspired gravel geometry for stable off-road handlingFull carbon fork with tapered steerer, mounting points and routing for a dynamo hubShimano GRX 2 x 10 drivetrain for gravel-focused gearingShimano GRX hydraulic disc brakes for confident stopping12mm bolt-through axles for a secure, composed rideMultiple mounting points for bags, cages and fendersRevised fork design that allows a suspension fork swap without changing geometryFive sets of bottle bosses for extra carrying optionsWhether it is a fast gravel loop, a loaded bikepacking trip or a quiet escape from the familiar, the Silex is ready to roll.
