Product Description
Pirelli Scorpion XC MBuilt for riders who want speed without giving up control, the Pirelli Scorpion XC M is made for mixed XC terrain. It feels quick when the pace rises, but stays reassuring when the trail turns rough, loose or technical. From marathon days to sharp XCO laps, it is designed to keep rolling and keep biting. Why it works on the trailThe Scorpion XC M takes a balanced approach to cross-country racing. Its lower rolling resistance helps it accelerate cleanly, while the tread still gives reliable grip when the surface changes. With a medium tread height and spacing, it suits fast riding across varied terrain. It moves confidently from natural trails to man-made obstacles, so you can stay in control without overthinking the line.Race-ready gripThe advanced Race XC compound is at the heart of its performance. It is designed for strong chemical grip, especially in wet conditions, helping you stay composed when the trail gets slick. The compact central channel supports efficient speed, while the tread design keeps the tyre feeling controlled and predictable.Built for modern XCThis is a tyre made for today’s racing. It is 9% faster and 12% lighter than the previous version, so it aims to give you a faster, sharper feel on the bike.Made in Italy and FSC Certified, it combines race focus with dependable construction for long-lasting performance.Construction optionsChoose the version that suits your ride:RACE Compound – mono-compound for consistent race performance and strong chemical grip, including on wet terrainLITE Casing – multi-ply 120tpi Nylon for lower weight, better speed and a supple ridePRO WALL Casing – multi-ply 120tpi Nylon with sidewall reinforcement for added protection and handlingTubeless Ready – TLR technology for easy mounting and bead stability on modern wide rimsKey Features:Designed for mixed-terrain XC racingBalanced for low rolling resistance and dependable gripAdvanced Race XC compound for strong wet-weather chemical gripMedium tread height and spacing for confident, fast ridingCompact central channel for efficient acceleration and rolling speed9% faster and 12% lighter than the previous versionMade in Italy and FSC CertifiedAvailable in 29x2.4 and PRO WALL versions (725g)
