Product Description
Built to hold the lineThe DH version of the Maxxis Minion DHR II is made for steep, rough riding where grip and control matter most. It digs in under braking, leans hard in corners and keeps its shape when the trail gets fast and unforgiving.Confident corneringThe side knobs are borrowed from the legendary Minion DHF, then widened for more support. That gives the DHR II a strong, planted feel when you push it through turns. It is a tyre that helps you trust the bike when the trail turns loose.Fast, controlled brakingThe paddle-like centre knobs are designed to improve braking, while the ramped and siped tread helps it roll quickly and track straight when things get steep. It feels secure when you are on the anchors and composed when the trail is rough.Built for downhill abuseThe MaxxGrip compound, DH Downhill casing and butyl insert are all there to support hard riding and improve confidence on technical ground. The new DH casing is designed for better compliance over rocks and roots, plus improved support under cornering loads and impacts.Tubeless readyThis tyre is tubeless ready, so you can run lower pressures for better traction and a more planted ride feel. It also reduces the chance of flatting because there is no tube.Key Features:DH version of the Maxxis Minion DHR IIWidened side knobs for stronger cornering supportPaddle-like centre knobs for improved brakingRamped and siped tread for faster rolling and straight tracking under brakingMaxxGrip compound for high gripNew DH / Downhill casing for improved compliance and supportButyl insert for added protectionTubeless tyreFolding beadSize: 29 x 2.5 inchesETRTO: 63-622Weight: 1440gMax PSI: 60TPI: 120x2SpecificationDiscipline: MTBColour: BlackModel: MinionPuncture Protection: YesBest for: Loose/Hard, Medium, Loose, WetCornering Control: 3Rolling Efficiency: 3
