Product Description
Ride bolder, corner cleanerThe Rekon puts control back in your hands. It bites into loose dirt, brakes sure and steady, and holds its line when the trail tilts. You feel the tyre grip, not slip. You push harder into corners and trust it to come through. Why it works on the trailWide centre knobs give sharp braking feel. L-shaped side knobs hook up when you lean, so cornering feels predictable even on loose ground. The tread is aggressive without dragging your momentum. It’s the kind of tyre that makes you want one more run.Compound that lasts and gripsThis Rekon uses the New 3C MaxxTerra formulation. It boosts durability and traction while keeping roll smooth. In plain terms: tyres that last longer, grip better, and don’t slow you down.Built for rough linesChoose EXO or EXO+ sidewall protection for serious cut and abrasion resistance. The added fabric is dense but flexible, so sidewall strength doesn’t kill ride performance. If your trails eat rubber, pick the EXO option.Tubeless ready benefitsRun lower pressure for better traction and fewer flats. Tubeless also reduces rolling resistance versus tubes. Note: use liquid sealant only in Tyres marked Tubeless Road, Tubular, or Tubeless Ready; using sealant in other Maxxis tyres will void the warranty.Specs at a glanceType: Aggressive trail tyre inspired by the IkonBest for: Hard Pack, Loose, Loose/Hard, MediumCornering Control: 3/4Rolling Efficiency: 3/4Compound: MaxxTerra (New 3C MaxxTerra)Breaker: EXO Puncture ProtectionMax PSI: 60Tubeless: Tubeless Ready tyreBead Type: FoldingTPI: 120Weight: 902 gSize: 29 x 2.6 inchesKey Features:Aggressive tread for confident braking and tractionL-shaped side knobs for predictable cornering on loose trailsWide centre knobs for strong braking biteNew 3C MaxxTerra: +30% durability, +15% traction, no loss in rolling efficiencyEXO sidewall protection for high cut and abrasion resistanceTubeless Ready for lower pressures and fewer flatsFolding bead, 120 TPI, 29 x 2.6" sizing, 902 gTake it out.
