Product Description
Minion DHXWhen the tracks get steeper, faster and rougher, you want a tyre that feels calm underneath you. The Minion DHX is built for that sort of riding. It gives downhill racers more support, more control and more confidence when the pace gets serious.Maxxis developed it from athlete feedback, refining the casing, compound and tread layout to suit modern World Cup downhill courses. It is made to handle hard hits, hold its line and keep you pushing to the bottom.Built for modern downhillThis is a tyre for riders who want a planted feel on technical terrain. The new DH casing is designed to improve compliance over rocks and roots, while also adding support under cornering loads and impacts. That means a more settled ride, less tyre movement and more confidence when the trail turns rough. It also allows lower pressures than the previous generation DH casing, helping the tyre feel more connected to the ground.Grip you can trustThe 3C MaxxGrip compound uses Maxxis' softest rubber compounds for strong grip and slow rebound. In downhill riding, that translates to traction you can feel when the trail is loose, steep or full of hard braking. It is the sort of grip that helps the tyre stay composed when you are pushing through the corners and charging into the rough.Tubeless readyThe tubeless-ready setup brings practical benefits on the trail. You can run lower pressures for better traction, and you reduce the chance of flats because there is no inner tube. For downhill riding, that extra security matters. It helps the tyre feel more planted and keeps you focused on the line ahead.Key Features:New DH / Downhill casing for improved support, compliance and durability3C MaxxGrip compound for strong grip and slow reboundTubeless ready for lower pressures and better tractionDH / Downhill puncture protectionFolding bead29 x 2.5 inches2x120 TPIMax PSI: 60Weight: 1527gETRTO: 63-622Colour: BlackDiscipline: MTBSpecificationCompound: 3C MaxxGrip Compound TechnologyBreaker: DH / Downhill Puncture ProtectionMax PSI: 60Bead Type: FoldingTubeless TyreTPI: 2x120Weight: 1527gCasing: DH DownhillSize: 29 x 2.5 inchesModel: Minion
