Product Description
Mavic Cosmic SL 45 Disc WheelsetFor riders who want one wheelset that can do more, the Cosmic SL 45 Disc brings together speed, comfort and control. It feels light under you on the climbs, quick when you stamp on the pedals, and steady when the road turns rough.Ride FeelWith a widened 23mm UD carbon rim, this wheelset is designed to feel smooth and responsive across a wide range of road conditions. The lighter rim and new spokes help it accelerate with a lively, direct feel, while the disc-brake-specific build adds confidence in the corners and on fast descents. Why It WorksThe 45mm NACA-inspired rim shape is made to reduce drag, helping you hold speed with less wasted effort. Flat spokes and a lightweight rim also keep inertia low, so the wheels respond quickly when the pace changes. The UST Tubeless setup is easier to use than Road Tubeless technology, bringing improved ride quality and the benefits of tubeless road riding in a disc-specific package.Key Features:45mm NACA-inspired rim shape for improved aerodynamics23mm inner width for added comfort and versatilityLightweight carbon rim for quick accelerationFlat steel spokes for a responsive rideDisc-brake-specific design with improved control12mm thru-axle compatibilityUST Tubeless ReadyCentre lock braking systemMaximum weight limit: 120kg including bikeTechnical DetailsProfile depth: 45mmInner width: 23mmRim diameter: 700cRim material: 100% carbon fibre with UD external layerSpokes: Steel, straight, extra flatDrilling: Traditional, 24 holes front and rearNipples: Steel, ABS, blackFront axle: 12 x 100mmRear axle: 12 x 142mmBearings: QRM automatic setting, sealed cartridgeETRTO size: 622x23TCMaximum weight: 120kg including bikeDiscipline: RoadBraking system: Centre lock onlyCompatibility OptionsM11 = Shimano HG 11/12 Speed (other sizes possible with spacers)N3W = Campagnolo 13 SpeedSRAM XDR = SRAM XDRIn the BoxWheelsetUser guideRim tape mounted on wheelUST valve not mounted on wheelMultifunction adjustment wrench for the rear wheelIntended UseMinimum tyre size: width 28mm, pressure max. 5.5Bar/80PSIMaximum tyre size: width 62mm, pressure max. 3.25Bar/47PSIASTM category 2: road and off-road with jumps less than 15cm
