The Alight Disc is a commuter-friendly city bike built around an ALUXX-grade aluminium frame with an easy on/off design for simple mounting and dismounting. Select Alight Disc City models come complete with practical commuting kit — full fenders, a rear rack and a kickstand — so rides on bike paths or daily commutes are more enjoyable.Comfort and Control:Comfort is prioritised with a pressure-relieving Liv ErgoMax saddle, shock-absorbing grips and a suspension seatpost. Control comes from hydraulic Tektro disc brakes (160 mm front and rear) and increased fork clearance that accepts up to 40c tyres for improved traction; the stock tyres are Giant S-X3 700x38c.Practicality and DrivetrainThe Alight Disc balances practicality and mechanical simplicity: a Shimano Altus 2x8 drivetrain with an 11–34 cassette and a forged alloy 30/46 crankset with chainguard provides a wide gear range for urban terrain.
