Fat bike, commuting, cyclocross, you name it, the MX146 is up for it.Key Features:Outsole - Supergrip Enduro Sole with Ice Lock anti-slip lug inserts. Not only does the MX146 feature Lake’s Legendary Fiberglass injected Nylon sole and one of the most technically advanced rubber soles. The Supergrip rubber sole features ICE LOCK tread inserts, vertically injected microglass fibers that grip virtually all surfaces. This gives you a wet-weather cycling shoe that is sure-footed and stable in any condition.Upper - The upper features softshell fabric, water-resistant microfiber, Thinsulate 200gr insulation and a waterproof membrane making this a highly water-resistant cycling shoe great in various conditions. Clarino microfiber offers great durability and the suppleness found in leather at a significant weight reduction.Closure -BOA® Fit System M4 dial. The M4 dial is built for gloves and freezing temperatures, defying sand, mud, and ice. Combined with Click-Fit quick release, the system makes for easy entry and exit.Temperature Rating -Down to 25°F/-4°CWater Resistance -The uppers are treated with a durable water-resistant (DWR) coating that will wear away over time. We recommend reapplying a DWR spray 1-2 times a year for moderate riders and every 2-3 wet rides for daily riders.Sizing Suggestion: If using winter-weight socks, Lake recommends ordering 1-1.5 sizes up from your usual Lake Cycling shoe size.
