It’s stronger and lighter, so the valve feels solid in the rim and barely there on the scale. The base has six machined slots. That lets air and sealant move freely around most tubeless tyre inserts, so inflation is easier and inserts behave as they should. The machined cap and a 4mm Allen slot make installation neat and simple. If you’re unsure, check your rim manufacturer's guidance.Quick fitting steps:Remove valve cap, locking ring and o-ring.Pick the rubber base that matches your rim profile (circular for curved sections, square for flat/square sections). If the small circular base is loose in a larger hole, use the larger circular base.Push the base to the bottom of the valve stem. Insert the stem through the rim hole.Slide the o-ring down against the rim. Screw on the locking ring and tighten by hand while pressing the valve base inward to seat the rubber. Stop when the o-ring is visibly squashed—this indicates a sealed fit.Don’t over-tighten; that can cause leaks. Fit your preferred valve cap.Use the integrated valve core tool to remove the core, add sealant, inflate, and you’re ready.Tip: The six slots make inflating with tubeless inserts much easier.
