Clean and dry the rim thoroughly.Line up the new tape opposite the valve hole. Unwind a little and press it down with your thumb to start.Pull the tape tight and stick it around the rim. Wiggle the tape into any concaves so edges are filled.Overlap the tape by about 10–15 cm. Leave a small unstuck tail and cut the remainder off. Press down the cut edge to seal.Run your thumb around the rim to smooth out any air pockets.Use a small pin to pierce the tape cleanly at the valve hole.Fit the valve: remove the lock ring and O-ring, choose the correct rubber base, push the valve through the rim, then refit the O-ring and lock ring. Tighten by hand — avoid over-torquing.Refit your tyre carefully (avoid damaging the tape with levers). Inflate until the tyre seats; you should hear popping around the rim.Release the air and remove the valve core using the valve core tool.Shake a sealant pouch, screw it onto the valve in an upright position, turn the wheel so the pouch is upside down and squeeze the sealant in.Spin the wheel upright, remove the pouch, reinsert the valve core and inflate to your preferred pressure.Ready to fit, seal and ride.
