7002 LLU MAX - MAX-Design, Angular Contact, ABEC-3, Radial Suspension Bearing -15mm x 32mm x 9mm Enduro Bearings pioneered MAX type bearings almost 20 years ago for bicycles to address the challenges associated with mountain bike pivots. These bearings have 35-40% more load capacity than standard radial bearings. We accomplish this with a special design where the maximum number of balls are inserted into the bearing. The race grooves are deeper on these bearings for more lateral support for the twisting and multiple forces associated with mountain bike pivots. This ABEC-3 bearing features deep-groove design races, with Grade 10 balls and full-contact, double-lip, labyrinth (LLU) seals for maximum protection against the elements, while keeping the 90% fill of Almagard Extra High Pressure Grease inside. This bearing has been used as a suspension pivot bearing by a number of bicycle brands. The Enduro line of bearings are available in High-Carbon Chromium Steel, 440C Stainless Steel, Ceramic-Hybrid and XD-15 with Ceramic or Stainless Balls. Our bearings are always engineered with deep groove races to accommodate the largest balls possible. All of our standard bearings feature dual-lip seals that ride in a micro groove creating a full labyrinth to provide ultimate protection against the elements.
