For 2023 the FF29 is re-born a" longer, lower, meaner a" but still flippina™ fast. Geometry has been bought bang up to date, the custom frame build utilises all-new tubing technology and it comes brimming with features designed for UK trails. Working with Kinesis Taiwan for nearly 30 years gives us unique access to the best know-how in the aluminium frame industry. We can develop a mountain bike frame tuned to the needs that we want as riders, giving the ride quality we enjoy while combining stiffness and durability at the lowest possible weight. We have also designed the FF29 with adjustable dropouts so that riders can optimise the rear stay length for their style of riding. This also gives the opportunity to set the frame up as a single speed. The FF29 is long, low and stable with a steep seat tube and long reach numbers a" the frame is actually sized by reach, and is designed for use with a dropper post. It's slack but this bike is no slacker - with a head angle of 65.5, you get a nimble, agile feel at the bars for singletrack hacking. We wanted an all-day hard-charging fully-capable 29a hardtail bike based around a 140mm fork, the sort of bike most of us ride here on the South Downs.
