Inspired by the Cosmic Universe the Minia child seat promotes the need for the human to move and to expand limits, promoting the use of the bicycle as smooth mobility for transportation, and therefore reducing CO2 emissions.   Minia is a rear bicycle child seat for kids with a recommended age of 9 months to 6 years and with a maximum weight of 22kg. Easy to assemble onto a luggage carrier or on a frame.    The product and packaging were developed having in mind our ecological footprint. The seat is shipped totally foldable, so a transport optimization is achieved resulting in less C02 emissions. Easy to adjust the safety harness or the footrest according to the growth of the child extending the life of your Minia seat.    Carrier Mounting System In the Carrier version you can use your Minia straight out of the box without needing any tools. Easily place the seat on the bicycle in just a couple of seconds a delightful feature for those commuters who needs usability and functionality in their daily travels. Easily adjusted to any rack size: The mount also allows the seat to adhere to either the front or the back of the rack. While minor, moving the child a couple of inches towards the rider can help to balance out the weight on the bike.   Bike & Rack Compatibility This Bicycle Seat must only be mounted to bicycles with carriers that comply with the ISO 11243 standard. Load Capacity of carrier ≥ 27kg. Width of carrier: 120 – 175mm. Tubing Diameter of Rack: Ø10 – 16mm. This Bicycle Seat must only be mounted to bicycles with wheel diameters of either: 26”, 650B/27.5”, 700C/28” or 29”. This Bicycle Seat is compatible with E-Bikes if the requirements listed above are met.   Harness System The harness consists of five straps (two shoulder, two sides and one bottom) that come together in a child-safe buckle that requires two hands to push buttons to open. The buckle also separates into three pieces left, right and bottom. This buckle configuration allows for easy on-and-offs as the shoulder straps slide over the shoulders like a backpack. To help keep the feet in place, there are Velcro foot straps that easily fold over the child’s foot and then hook into place.
