Lighter than its predecessor, faster in the wind, balanced in corners, and confident on the descent.   The new, third-generation of Ventum's road bike builds on the legacy of the NS1 line. Refined and precise, it’s designed to reward those driven to chase the perfect formula for speed. Use it again and again. Create speed, and apply it liberally to mountain passes, sprint finishes, and impossibly epic days. That’s good chemistry. That’s the NS1   A New, Sharper Front End Leaning on lessons learned from the Tempus TT bike, we reshaped the NS1’s front end to be deeper and sharper.  The leading edge now extends forward of the steerer, creating space for a cleaner, more efficient airfoil where the wind hits first.    A pronounced hourglass head tube narrows the frame’s waist to reduce frontal area.. Deeper airfoils on the fork legs channel air around the front wheel and increase stiffness.. The result is simple: a sharper, more efficient leading edge that’s faster through the wind.   203 Grams Lighter The new NS1 frame weighs 203g less than the previous generation. Ventum did this by developing a new carbon layup, improving the production process, and by shaving mass from the front-end and seat stays. Not only has this made the bike lighter, it improved overall frame performance. The result is a bike that feels livelier on the climbs, more responsive in the corners, and stiffer where it matters   Speed Is Easier To Fin When The Position Is Right Version three of the NS1’s Race Geometry is slightly taller to help riders hold an aerodynamic position more comfortably. The frame stack is slightly taller across the range, most notably:    1.3cm taller in M/L. 1.1cm taller in XL .   This means more riders can settle into an aero position cleaner and stay there longer. Reach, and most other key measurements, stay the same creating size-specific refinements that broaden the fit without changing the bike’s character. Other than that, Ventum protected the NS1’s racy feel. Nimble in corners, stable at speed.
