Our key bike brands include Santa Cruz, Evil, Genesis, Nukeproof, Kona, Marin, Orange, Ibis, Merida, Rondo, Revel and more. Established in 2008 we have gained a reputation for stocking high-end mountain bikes, components, accessories and cycle clothing and for our fast delivery. We are a fully independent rider-owned company. With an online and physical presence we are a leading destination for the best mountain bike products in the UK. Our main showroom near Canterbury in Kent is across the road from some of the best mountain bike trail in the area and we run regular shop rides and demo events. We're now amongst the biggest independent bike shops in the UK and keep over 10,000 products in stock. Company History The Biketart story all began with Biketape, a clear protective tape used to protect bikes from chips and scratches. Frustrated with damage to his bikes, Adam here set out to find the best quality tape possible and Biketape was born over 12 years ago. Continuing the theme of customising bikes, new products were then launched including titanium bolts. With a growing product collection Biketart was born in the summer of 2008. Growth We kept a pretty exclusive selection of brands, cherry-picking the quality products that really stood out. This really captured people's interest. At the beginning it was possible to take all the orders to our local sorting office by bike! With a growing business we moved to larger warehouse premises in 2010 to be able to stock more products and process orders more efficiently. We opened our showroom there and took on leading bike brands such as Santa Cruz. Fast forward to the present day, we now have thousands of orders going out a week and have dedicated Royal Mail trucks and courier collections. Our Location Located near Barham in the beautiful Elham Valley, our headquarters and showroom is the base of our online operations and also provides bike servicing in the large workshop here. You can come and browse bikes, clothing, parts and accessories in our showroom. Our friendly staff are all riders and it is a relaxed environment free from push sales people. We are across the road from one of the best mountain biking locations in the area: Covert and Covet woods. The extensive trail network there provides an excellent opportunity for customers to test ride our demo bikes or just go for a ride whilst visiting. Strava and Trailforks have the trails mapped out but ask for some guidance if you'd like to know what would suit you best or for the current weather conditions. We have a fully equipped workshop at our showroom which provide a full range of bike maintenance from a standard bike service, repairs and complete custom builds. We are able to offer a quick turn-around on workshop jobs as we have so many parts kept in stock.
