The Maxxis Dissector G2 is Maxxis's updated aggressive trail tread, with redesigned side knobs giving a larger footprint and reworked sipes for more predictable, stable cornering on hard terrain, and a revised 2-3-2 centre tread with the centre row split into individual knobs for stronger braking traction. Maxxis recommends it as a front tyre on trail bikes with 130-140mm of travel, paired with a faster-rolling rear such as the Forekaster or Rekon, or as a fast, confident rear tyre in dry conditions on bikes with 150mm or more of travel.
