UNLOCK IN SECONDS WITH YOUR FINGERPRINT Innovative technology with a capacitive sensor on the chain lock ensures that you can open your bike lock without any keys or dials using just your fingerprint. The YARDO chain lock essentially consists of a 7mm thick round chain that offers robust protection against theft. The ends of the optional 85cm and 110cm long chain are connected to a lock body made of coated zinc die cast. The special feature of this lock body_ It is equipped with a precise fingerprint sensor that recognises up to 20 scanned fingerprints. If you place your clean finger on the sensor, the lock will open in an instant. Scanning multiple fingerprints allows for flexible handling, for example if you want to share your bike lock or bike with several people. The locking process is extremely simple, as the lock locks automatically when the lock ends are inserted into the lock body. The lock body is encased in a silicone cover to prevent scratches on the bike frame. The IP66 and IP68 certification attests that the lock body is dustproof and weatherproof. A double ball bearing locking provides improved protection against forced opening. With the YARDO chain lock, convenience, functionality and design go hand in hand and you're in step with the times. The YARDO 7807F emits an SOS signal to signify when the battery is low. A beep sounds and the LEDs flash red. After about ten SOS warnings, the lock can no longer be locked after the last opening. This prevents the user from locking themselves out. Replace Battery Open the battery compartment at the bottom of the padlock and remove the standard CR2 battery. Fingerprints will remain stored during this process. Insert a new CR2 battery and close the battery compartment. The lock will work perfectly again for up to 10,000 more openings. How do I save fingerprints? The first two fingerprints that are taught into the ABUS YARDO 7807F are those of the administrator or one fingerprint each of the first and second administrator. IS THE ABUS YARDO 7807F WATERPROOF? The YARDO 7807F chain lock is certified to protection classes IP 66 and IP 68 and is therefore reliably protected against dust and water. It is therefore also suitable for use in the rain or wind. The YARDO 7807F can also withstand being sprayed with a water hose. REGISTERING THE FIRST ADMINISTRATOR For the first fingerprint of the first admin, press and hold the sensor for three seconds until a beep sounds. The LEDs will light up blue. Then place your finger in different flat positions and hold it in place until a long signal tone sounds. The LEDs will flash green. REGISTERING THE SECOND ADMINISTRATOR To register the second administrator's finger, the first admin presses and holds the sensor for three seconds. If their finger is successfully recognized, a signal tone will sound. The lock will open. Press and hold the sensor again until you hear a beep. The LEDs will light up blue. The first admin touches the lock with their finger to confirm. Now the second admin should place their finger in different, flat positions and hold until a long signal tone sounds. The LEDs will flash green. REGISTERING MORE FINGERPRINTS An admin holds the sensor down for three seconds.
