The Zipp 303 Firecrest Carbon Tubular Rim Brake 700C Front QR Wheel is a dedicated TUBULAR wheelset component designed exclusively for riders who run glued-on tubular tyres . This wheel is NOT a tubeless wheel and NOT a clincher it is purpose-built for traditional tubular race setups, offering the ride quality, weight savings, and race-day security that tubular systems are known for. The 45 mm deep Firecrest carbon rim is engineered specifically around tubular tyre profiles, delivering a seamless tyre-to-rim interface for optimal aerodynamics and predictable handling. Zipp’s ABLC SawTooth surface texture further improves airflow control, reducing drag while maintaining excellent stability in crosswindsespecially important for a lightweight front wheel used in racing and high-speed riding. Finished in UD carbon fibre with adhesive decals, the rim keeps weight to a minimum while maintaining a clean, professional aesthetic.
