KX Pro 700c Gravel Disc Tubeless Rear Wheel - Built for Fast Gravel, Rough Roads and Everyday Adventure The KX Pro 700c Gravel Disc Tubeless Rear Wheel is engineered for riders who demand dependable performance across mixed terrain. Whether tackling gravel events, endurance road rides, bikepacking routes or year-round commuting, this lightweight yet durable rear wheel delivers the ideal balance of strength, efficiency and reliability. Built around a wide 23mm internal tubeless-ready rim and a robust forged alloy hub with four sealed cartridge bearings, the KX Pro offers excellent tyre support, smooth rolling performance and long-term durability in all weather conditions. A Shimano HG 11-speed freehub, Centre Lock disc compatibility and a modern 12 x 142mm thru axle make it an ideal upgrade or replacement wheel for today's gravel and all-road bikes. Supplied complete with tubeless tape, valves and a 10-speed cassette spacer, everything needed for installation is included straight from the box. Designed for Modern Gravel Performance The SRD23 rim features a 23mm internal width, providing excellent support for today's wider gravel tyres. The wider profile allows tyres to maintain a more stable shape, improving cornering confidence, grip and comfort while allowing lower tyre pressures for greater control on loose surfaces. At 24mm deep, the rim offers an excellent balance between strength, responsiveness and predictable handling, making it equally at home on rough bridleways, winter roads and fast mixed-terrain rides. Reliable Performance in All Conditions At the heart of the wheel is the KT-TS8R forged alloy rear hub. Precision-machined from a one-piece forged aluminium body and running on four sealed cartridge bearings, it delivers smooth, efficient rolling performance while resisting water, mud and trail contamination. The result is lower maintenance and dependable reliability throughout the seasons. The Cro-Mo axle provides excellent durability under high pedalling loads, while the 32-hole spoke configuration creates a strong and dependable wheel capable of handling demanding gravel riding and loaded adventure bikes. Tubeless Ready for More Grip and Fewer Punctures The KX Pro is fully tubeless ready and supplied with genuine KX tubeless tape and 44mm tubeless valves. Running tubeless allows lower tyre pressures for increased grip and comfort while significantly reducing the likelihood of pinch punctures. Riders also benefit from improved rolling efficiency across rough terrain and greater confidence when venturing off the tarmac. Compatible with Modern Shimano Gravel and Road Groupsets The Shimano HG freehub accepts all standard Shimano and Shimano-compatible 11-speed road and gravel cassettes. A supplied 1mm spacer also allows installation of compatible 10-speed cassettes, making the wheel suitable for a wide range of existing drivetrains.
