Product Description
Not every frame or fork puts its mudguard mount where a standard stay fixing expects it. The SKS Straight Mount Adaptor sorts that out. It's a genuine SKS spare that lets Velo and Bluemels mudguards with ASR stays fit cleanly to suspension forks and to road and gravel bikes that need a straight mount fitting. Small part, big difference when the lanes are wet. Where It Fits On RockShox and SunTour suspension forks, the mudguard mount sits partway up the lower leg rather than down by the dropout. This adaptor gives the stay a secure, straight fixing point there. The same fitting also suits road and gravel bikes that call for a straight mount, including the Ridley Grifn and a number of Trek models that have a straight on mount. Either way, the mudguard sits properly and stays put over rough ground. Check Before You Buy Your bike or fork needs an M5 threaded mudguard mount Mudguard stays must be no wider than 4mm Designed for SKS ASR stays; also used with ESC-Vario stays This is the straight version.
