The Wheels Manufacturing 1728 Open-Bore Adaptor supports the bearing squarely during installation, helping it enter the housing smoothly rather than taking the expensive scenic route. Its stepped profile locates within the bearing bore, while the central hole accommodates the 3/8-inch ACME threaded rod used by compatible Wheels Manufacturing bearing presses. Machined from aluminium and finished in red anodising, it is suitable as a replacement for a damaged or missing adaptor or for expanding an existing workshop press kit.
