The XQ Max Bicycle Frame Lock is a robust, fit-and-forget ring lock designed to deter opportunist thieves whenever the bike is left unattended. Permanently mounted to the rear frame, it immobilises the back wheel at the turn of a key, making it the ideal everyday companion for commuters, school runs and quick stops at the cafe. Heavy-Duty Steel Construction Built from hardened steel with a zinc alloy and ABS housing, the lock body offers genuine resistance against tampering and forced attack. A corrosion-resistant powder-coated finish protects the lock from the worst of British weather, ensuring smooth operation season after season. Permanent Frame Mounting The bracket bolts directly to the seat stays via the dedicated mounting points found on most bicycles, with four screws and nuts supplied in the box. Once fitted, the lock stays on the bike, so there is nothing to carry, nothing to forget and nothing to fish out of a rucksack at the bike rack. Fast, One-Handed Operation Locking is as simple as sliding the lever down to drive the 8mm hardened steel shackle through the spokes of the rear wheel. The key is removable only when the lock is engaged, so the bike cannot be left unlocked by mistake. Two keys are supplied as standard. Extra-Large Wheel Passage With a 130mm internal diameter, the shackle clears wider tyres comfortably, making the lock suitable for hybrids, town bikes, e-bikes and many gravel and mountain bikes. The compact 160mm overall height keeps the lock tucked neatly behind the seatpost without fouling rider clearance.
