This is the headset of choice for steel restorations, classic road builds, lugged tourers, traditional singlespeeds, and any frame whose owner takes the words "quill stem" as a compliment. CNC-Machined Chromoly Throughout The Levin CDS is built from CNC-machined full chromoly properly hard, properly precise, and properly sorted. Tight tolerances mean cups press home cleanly, races sit true, and adjustment stays where it is put. This is the headset Tange Seiki points to when riders ask for one of the best headsets at the price. Stone-Polished Ball Races Every bearing race carries Super Stone polishing a mirror-fine finish that takes the friction out of the rotation and the notchiness out of the ride.
