The brace comes in a corset-like design, allowing plenty of support around key abdominal muscles and mimicking the action of the obliques, deloading the lower back. By increasing tension around this abdominal area, the posterior support offloads the tone in the erectors spinae and quadratus lumborum, which in turn reduces muscle spasms.
