The carbon fork reduces front end weight and improves steering precision, while the carbon seatpost and lightweight wheelset help maintain momentum and agility. This low bike to rider weight ratio gives young cyclists the confidence to climb, corner and accelerate with ease.Designed for Smooth Skill ProgressionShort 140mm cranks match growing leg lengths, supporting a natural pedalling motion. The Microshift 9 speed shifter offers crisp, short throw gear changes that make learning to manage cadence and terrain intuitive. Shimano MT410 hydraulic brakes provide powerful, predictable stopping with minimal lever effort, giving riders the control they need as speeds increase.Big Wheel Stability and TractionThe 24 inch wheels follow the Big Wheel concept used across the Kimu Development range, offering smoother rolling, better traction and improved stability - just like 29 inch wheels on adult bikes. Paired with Schwalbe Rocket Ron Evo tyres, the bike grips confidently on dirt, grass and loose surfaces, encouraging skill development on more challenging terrain.Built for Real World DurabilityThe alloy frame features internal cable routing and dedicated protectors to keep the bike quiet and well shielded from everyday knocks. A short rear derailleur stays tucked away from curbs and rocks while still offering a wide 11-42t gear range. The adjustable growth stem ensures the bike continues to fit as the rider grows, extending its lifespan and value.Personalisation IncludedLike all Kimu models, the 24 H10 includes interchangeable protectors with dedicated designs. Riders can also personalise their bike with stickers and a name plate, creating a sense of ownership and pride as they progress through new cycling challenges.Suitable for riders approximately 121-138 cm tall, typically aged 7-10 years. Choose by your child's height and fit rather than age alone. Learn More - Orbea Kimu Size Guide
