Product Description
Orbea Kimu 24 H20 Kids BikeThe Orbea Kimu 24 H20 is built for young riders aged 7 to 10 who are ready to explore farther, ride faster and develop real off road skills. Sitting at the heart of the Kimu Development range, it balances performance and durability with kid specific ergonomics, stable handling and a lightweight feel that encourages confidence on every ride. With 24 inch Big Wheel stability, an 8 speed drivetrain and hydraulic disc brakes, it gives growing riders the tools they need to progress smoothly and enjoy every adventure.Key FeaturesOrbea Kimu 24 frame with alloy Kimu forkAlloy crankset, 28t, 140mmMTB alloy handlebar, 620mm width, with custom stem and +15mm spacerMicroshift M6185 8 speed shifterClarks M2 hydraulic disc brakes with kid friendly leversKMC X8 chain and Microshift 11-42t cassetteWH 2.0 alloy wheels, 24in, 28HKenda Booster 24x2.20in tyresAlloy 27.2x305mm seatpost with low stack railsSD 0.4 saddleVP 229 pedals with reflectorsOrbea custom fork mudguardDesigned for the Development StageKimu 24 H20 supports riders who are transitioning from early cycling skills to more confident, independent riding. Short 140mm cranks match growing leg lengths, while the Microshift 8 speed shifter uses a short, smooth throw that makes learning gears intuitive. Kid sized grips, a supportive saddle and a stable cockpit help maintain a natural riding position as speeds increase.Lightweight and Easy to ControlA low bike to rider weight ratio is essential at this age. The alloy frame and fork keep the bike responsive and easy to manoeuvre, helping riders climb, corner and accelerate with confidence. Internal cable routing and dedicated frame protectors keep the bike quiet and clean, even with heavy use.Big Wheel StabilityThe 24 inch wheels follow the same Big Wheel concept used across the Kimu Development range. Larger diameter wheels offer smoother rolling, better traction and improved stability, similar to how 29 inch wheels benefit adult riders. This helps young cyclists maintain speed more easily and encourages skill development on rougher terrain.Built for Real World DurabilityThe Kimu 24 H20 is designed to handle the knocks, bumps and daily use that come with childhood. A short rear derailleur stays tucked away from curbs and rocks, while still offering a wide 11-42t gear range for varied terrain. The adjustable growth stem ensures the bike continues to fit as the rider grows, extending its lifespan and value.Personalisation IncludedLike all Kimu models, the 24 H20 includes interchangeable protectors with dedicated designs. Riders can also personalise their bike with stickers and a name plate, creating a sense of ownership and pride as they progress through new cycling challenges.
