Product Description
Orbea Kimu 20 H10 Kids BikeThe Orbea Kimu 20 H10 is the lightest and most performance focused option in the Kimu 20 lineup, designed for young riders aged 5 to 8 who are ready to push their skills further. With a carbon fork, premium components and a low bike to rider weight ratio, it delivers fast handling, smooth control and confidence on varied terrain. As part of the Kimu Development range, it supports the transition from early riding to real off road capability, all while maintaining kid specific ergonomics and long lasting durability.Key FeaturesOrbea Kimu 20 frame with lightweight Kimu carbon forkAlloy crankset, 28t, 115mmMTB alloy handlebar, 580mm width, with custom stem and +15mm spacerMicroshift M6185 8 speed shifterShimano MT410 hydraulic disc brakesKMC X8 chain and Microshift 11-38t cassetteAlloy 24c wheels, 20HSchwalbe Rocket Ron Performance foldable 20x2.25 tyresSP 0.2 carbon seatpost, 27.2mm, zero setbackSD 0.3 saddleVP 229 pedals with reflectorsOrbea custom fork mudguardLightweight Performance for Growing RidersThe Kimu 20 H10 focuses on maximum lightness to make handling easier and more intuitive for young riders. The carbon fork reduces front end weight, improving steering precision and helping kids maintain momentum on climbs and uneven terrain. Combined with a lightweight alloy cockpit and carbon seatpost, the bike feels responsive and easy to control, encouraging confidence as speeds increase.Designed for Skill DevelopmentEvery component is chosen to support natural progression. Short 115mm cranks match smaller leg lengths, while the Microshift 8 speed shifter offers short, smooth throws that make learning gears simple. Shimano MT410 hydraulic brakes provide powerful, predictable stopping with minimal lever effort, giving riders the control they need as they explore more challenging routes.Big Wheel StabilityFollowing the Big Wheel concept used across the Development range, the 20in wheels offer greater stability and smoother rolling, similar to how 29in wheels benefit adult riders. The larger diameter improves traction, helps maintain speed and encourages skill development on rougher surfaces. Paired with Schwalbe Rocket Ron tyres, the bike grips confidently on dirt, grass and mixed terrain.Built to Last and Ready for AdventureThe alloy frame features internal cable routing and dedicated protectors to keep the bike quiet and well shielded from everyday knocks. A short rear derailleur stays tucked away from curbs and rocks, while still offering the range needed for varied terrain. The adjustable growth stem ensures the bike continues to fit as the rider grows, extending its lifespan.Personalisation IncludedKimu 20 H10 includes interchangeable protectors with dedicated designs, plus stickers and a name plate so kids can personalise their bike. These small touches help create a sense of ownership and pride as they develop their riding skills.
