Brompton Schwalbe Marathon Racer 16 inch tyreTheSchwalbe Marathon Racer 16 x 11/3inch tyre was originally introduced onthe 2018 model Brompton and is the entry level of three tyres fitted as standard in the factory on the current Brompton folding bike range (as at the start of2025- along with the Schwalbe Kojak and Schwalbe Marathon)It is very slightly narrower (at 1 1/3inches) than the old standard Brompton kevlar (previously known as "green" for it's green label) tyre (which was1 3/8inches wide)This waseffectively the replacement for the Brompton Kevlar tyre (if you can remember them)The Marathon Racer is made by Schwalbe in the 16 inch size specifically for Brompton -previously it was only available for larger wheeled bikesThe tyre is directional - this means it is designed to run in one direction - so should be fitted accordingly.
