Product Description

About the Frog Tadpole Plus The Frog Tadpole Plus 14-inch balance bike is an award-winning first bike for toddlers aged 3–4, designed to build balance, coordination, and confidence before they move on to pedals. Perfect balance bike for pre-schoolers The Frog Tadpole Plus 14-inch balance bike is the perfect first bike for children aged 3 to 4. Designed to make cycling feel as easy as walking, this lightweight balance bike (just 3.82kg) is simple for toddlers to handle and light enough for parents to carry. Winner of the Creative Play Outdoor Toys Award 2023, it's trusted by families as one of the best balance bikes for preschoolers, helping kids develop balance, coordination, and cycling confidence before moving on to pedals. Adventure-ready design With 14-inch wheels and chunky tyres, the Tadpole Plus offers excellent grip and stability, whether your child is riding in the park, garden, or on the pavement. The quick-release seat post and child-sized saddle make adjustments easy, ensuring the perfect fit for children with an inside leg of 39–51cm. As they grow, the Tadpole Plus grows with them, turning every outing into a fun adventure. Safety parents can trust The Tadpole Plus is packed with features that give children confidence and parents peace of mind. It comes with Tektro brakes and easy-to-reach brake levers designed for small hands, top-mounted brake arms to prevent feet from catching, and a safety steering lock to reduce the risk of oversteering and falls. Grows with your child The Tadpole Plus is made to keep up with your child. As they grow taller and more skilled, the adjustable handlebars and saddle height ensure a perfect fit, so they stay comfortable and in control throughout their riding journey. Lightweight, yet durable This lightweight 14-inch balance bike is easy for toddlers to manage. The strong aluminium frame is built for everyday use, making it durable enough for outdoor adventures while remaining light for parents to carry when needed. Smooth step towards pedal bikes Unlike stabilisers, the Tadpole Plus teaches children to balance on two wheels from the start, making the transition to a pedal bike smooth and stress-free. With its age-appropriate components, bell included, it's a smart, long-lasting choice for families.
