To convert every watt pumped into the pedals into propulsion with extreme efficiency, it is lighter, more comfortable, more robust, and more versatile.Shimano XTR BL-M9120 Brake LeverStarting from a braking system that was already the benchmark among mountain bike braking systems, Shimano engineers reworked the design of the XTR 9100 brake levers. For the BL-M9120 levers, both the clamp and the lever body itself were changed. The clamp moves further toward the center of the lever body and is angled. In this way, the outer edge of the reservoir intelligently rests directly against the handlebar, creating an additional support point when operating the lever.This significantly increases stiffness and stability, ultimately leading to an even more direct braking feel and better control. Thus, the BL-M9120 is also 8% stiffer compared to its predecessor. The reach of this Enduro brake lever—developed specially to work with the BR-M9120 4-piston caliper—can be adjusted without tools. Additionally, the Servo Wave brake lever features an extra adjustment option for free stroke. Servo Wave technology provides smooth, predictable braking with the right balance between performance and durability.
