Product Description
Discover the legendary performance of the Odyssey 7KA 20 BMX Rim, a foundational component in the world of high-performance BMX. Designed for riders who demand the absolute best in strength and reliability, the 7KA has earned its place as an icon in the Wheels and Tyres category. This is not just any rim, it is the original 7000 series aluminum BMX rim, a pioneer that set the standard for modern rim construction. The core of the 7K´s unmatched reputation lies in its specialty grade of 7000 series aluminum. This advanced material allows for an exceptional engineering balance, creating a rim that is impressively lightweight for responsive handling and aerial manoeuvres, yet simultaneously super strong to withstand the harshest impacts of street, park, and urban cycling. Its proven durability and performance have made the Seven-KA the rim of choice for countless pro-level riders over the years, a testament to its ability to perform under the most demanding conditions. When you build your wheel with a 7KA, you´re building with the same confidence that professionals trust.Key Features:The Odyssey 7KA is engineered with precision features designed for maximum performance and longevity. The fully welded joint construction creates a stronger, stiffer, and more reliable seam than pinned alternatives, ensuring your wheel stays true and round after heavy sessions. Furthermore, the directional spoke hole drilling is a crucial detail that reduces stress on both the spokes and the rim itself by allowing the nipple to sit at a more natural angle. This leads to a stronger, longer-lasting wheel build with fewer broken spokes. The rim´s strength is further enhanced by its trademarked cross-section design, a unique profile (U.S. Patent 7.427,112) specifically engineered to provide maximum rigidity and impact resistance without adding unnecessary weight.Technical Specifications:* Model: Seven K'A Rim* Rim Size: 20* Hole Count: 36-hole* Material: 7000 Series Aluminum Alloy* Width: 34mm* Height / Rim Depth: 17mm* ERD (Effective Rim Diameter): 390mm* Weight: 490 grams (17.3 oz)* Joint: Fully Welded* Color: BlackUpgrade your BMX with a piece of history that continues to define performance.
