The radical new Revo-DHC is a downhill race pedal which gives all the control benefits of a flat pedal, with the security and efficiency of a clip pedal. This pedal is going to be a real disrupter and is already getting rave reviews from the media that have early test samples.Featuring an extra-large body and fully adjustable pin height, the Revo-DHC gives unparalleled levels of support, feedback and control.The proprietary Renthal binding features easy entry geometry, a huge range of spring tension adjustment and is fully SPD compatible.This pedal is unconventional and uncompromising, but for all the right reasons.Extra large body:- Sharing the same silhouette as our proven Revo-F, the Revo-DHC gives the same support, feedback and control of a flat pedal, whilst having the extra security and pedalling efficiency of a clip pedal. Adjustable pin height, from 1.5 mm all the way up to 5.5 mm, in 1 mm increments, ensures the widest range of shoe compatibility.Proprietary Binding:- The Renthal developed binding uses easy entry geometry. This allows the rear jaw to move down and away from the cleat, on engagement. The effect is a reduction in force required to engage the cleat, for a given spring tension. The bindings feature independent adjustment, with a huge range of spring tension, to suit any rider preference. Renthal bindings are fully SPD compatible.Axle System:- The patent pending axle system, features in the Revo-DHC allows full home servicing, using standard tools, found in anyone's toolkit. All is required is a 6mm and 8mm hex-key, a standard 8 mm socket, a torque wrench and a mallet. The unique system uses the axle to both remove and re-install the bushing. The bearings are also pressed into place, using the pedal internals.Durable Internals:- Inboard, the Revo-DHC spins on an extra-wide Igus bush, sealed with a full-contact wiper seal. Outboard there are three cartridge bearings. Two smaller bearings and a larger bearing in the outer most location, sealed with an end-cap O-ring. Adding to the durability of the bearings is the full length axle. Mounting the bearing at the outer edge of the pedal gives them the best support, to protect them from damage in a rock-strike incident.Forged CNC:- The main body of the Revo-DHC is made from forged, 6061 aluminium. The pedal is then fully CNC machined, to remove as much material as possible. To improve rock strike performance, the front face of the pedal has been kept smooth, without any cut-outs.
