Aerodynamic and stable in all weather, it features a wider rim designed for lower-pressure tubeless tires, reducing rolling resistance and vibration. This means you´ll lose as little energy as possible on the road. For the optimal combination of aerodynamics and rolling resistance gains, a 28mm tire is recommended. Its 58mm Sawtooth wavy rim with Hyperfoils is our most aerodynamic and stable wheel yet. The 454 NSW benefits from Zipp´s Total System Efficiency (TSE), our approach to combating the greatest enemies of speed: wind resistance, gravity, rolling resistance, and vibration. And gravity? Zipp´s use of hookless (straight-sided) rims on the 454 NSW is essential to the ´´You Faster´´ strategy. This technology makes the transition between tire and rim smoother and more aerodynamic. Zipp hookless rims benefit from more efficient resin distribution, resulting in lighter and stronger wheels. The 454 NSW features the premium ZR1 SL hub with ceramic bearings and 66 points of engagement.
