Tuning chip for electric bikes with Bosch Performance Line SX (4th generation) motors with Smart System + Rim Magnet.SpeedBox 1.5 allows you to deactivate the speed limiter of your e-bike.If you want to monitor accurate speed and all riding data during your trip, we recommend purchasing the SpeedBox 1.5 B.Tuning for Bosch - you can view real-time ride data in our SpeedBox App, directly on your phone screen.How does SpeedBox 1.5 for Bosch work?.To activate all SpeedBox functions correctly, once the e-bike is turned on with the SpeedBox installed, you must enter the menu and access the wheel circumference value if your e-bike has older firmware.Tuning must always be activated/deactivated before riding, not while riding!.To activate the SpeedBox 1.5 chip, briefly enable the WALK function on the e-bike´s control unit (press and hold the ´´-´´ button).The e-bike display will briefly show 3.5 km/h (2.2 mph) - from that moment, you can ride at a speed of 35 km/h.You can change the default speed limit to any value (up to 99 km/h), but to minimize the risk of error codes, we recommend not exceeding 35 km/h.To deactivate the chip function, reactivate the WALK function (press and hold the ´´-´´ button).The display will show 2.5 km/h (1.6 mph), and the default 25 km/h speed limit will be restored.The e-bike will operate as it did before the chip installation.We´ve also considered e-bikes that don´t have a WALK function available or enabled.In this case, you can activate or deactivate the tuning by switching between two modes twice, by pressing the buttons in the sequence:´´- + - +´´.You can change the maximum assistance speed again by switching modes from TURBO down three levels and then back up three levels.eMTB - TOUR+ - ECO - TOUR+ - eMTB - TURBO.The current speed limit will then be displayed.To change the speed limit, briefly press the WALK function or rotate the wheel 360°.A display of 2.5 km/h corresponds to a 25 km/h limit, 3.5 to 35 km/h, etc.The last displayed limit is saved after 15 seconds of inactivity.When using SpeedBox, the e-bike must remain powered on after the ride until the display shows a constant 0.0 km/h.During this phase, the screen will show the remaining countdown time.Afterward, the bike can be safely turned off and you´ll be ready for your next ride.Installation.To connect the SpeedBox chip to an e-bike, we use color-coded connectors with locking keys for proper connection, making the chip very easy to install.You can download the instructions or watch videos that will guide you through the SpeedBox installation.Removing the chip is just as easy as installing it.If you encounter any connection issues, feel free to contact us.If you want to install SpeedBox on a brand-new bike, you must first ride at least 10 km on it.Important.Connect the male and female connectors in the direction of the lock.Do not twist the connectors during connection!.Notice.Please note that using modified electric bikes on public infrastructure may conflict with legal regulations in some countries.The manufacturer is not liable for any damages resulting from the use of SpeedBox products.E-bikes equipped with SpeedBox products must not be used on roads, bike paths, or public areas.E-bikes with SpeedBox products are intended for private property use only and at your own risk.The use of SpeedBox products may void your e-bike´s warranty.We recommend using additional protective gear to avoid injuries.During short breaks, to resume riding smoothly, we recommend keeping one foot on the pedal to prevent the countdown from starting.For longer pauses, allow at least a partial countdown.After a long ride, the countdown may take several minutes.Do not turn off the display until the countdown is complete.Tuning must always be activated/deactivated before riding, never during a ride.We recommend not exceeding 35 km/h.We do not recommend updating the software.Please disable automatic updates in the Ebike Flow app settings.Note:The SpeedBox product warranty does not cover malfunctions caused by a motor update.
