Tuning chip for electric bikes with Bosch Performance Line SX (4th generation) motors with Smart System + Rim Magnet.SpeedBox 1.4 allows you to deactivate the speed limiter of your electric bike.If you want to monitor accurate speed and all riding data during your trip, we recommend purchasing the SpeedBox 1.4 B.Tuning for Bosch - you´ll be able to view real riding values in our SpeedBox App, directly on your phone screen.How does SpeedBox 1.4 for Bosch work?.To properly activate all SpeedBox functions, after turning on the e-bike with SpeedBox installed, you must enter the menu and access the wheel circumference value if your e-bike has older firmware.Tuning activation/deactivation must always be done before riding, not during the ride!.To activate the SpeedBox 1.4 chip, briefly enable the WALK function on the e-bike control unit (press and hold the ´´-´´ button).The e-bike display will briefly show 3.5 km/h (2.2 mph), and from that moment, you can ride at a speed of 35 km/h.You can change the default speed limit to any value (up to 99 km/h), but to minimize the risk of error codes, we recommend not exceeding 35 km/h.To deactivate the chip function, reactivate the WALK function (press and hold the ´´-´´ button).The display will show 2.5 km/h (1.6 mph), and the 25 km/h speed limit will be restored.The e-bike will operate as it did before the chip was installed.We have also considered e-bikes that do not have a WALK function available or activated.In this case, you can activate or deactivate the tuning by switching twice between two modes - by pressing the buttons in the sequence ´´- + - +´´.You can change the maximum assistance speed again by switching modes from TURBO down three levels and then up three levels.eMTB - TOUR+ - ECO - TOUR+ - eMTB - TURBO.The current speed limit will then be displayed.To change the maximum speed, briefly press the WALK function or rotate the wheel 360°.Display 2.5 km/h = 25 km/h limit, 3.5 = 35 km/h, etc.The last displayed limit will be saved after 15 seconds of inactivity.When using SpeedBox, the e-bike must remain turned on after the ride until the display shows a constant 0.0 km/h.During this phase, the display will show the remaining countdown time.Afterward, the bike can be safely turned off, and you can look forward to your next ride.Installation.To connect the SpeedBox chip to an e-bike, we use color-coded connectors equipped with a key for proper connection, making the chip very easy to install.You can download instructions or watch videos that will guide you through installing SpeedBox.Removing the chip is as easy as installing it.If you experience any connection issues, please don´t hesitate to contact us.If you want to use SpeedBox on a new bike, you must first ride at least 10 km.Important.Connect male-female connectors in the direction of the lock.Do not twist the connectors during connection!.Notice.Be aware that the use of modified electric bikes on public infrastructure may be in conflict with current legislation in some countries.The manufacturer is not responsible for any damage resulting from the use of SpeedBox products.E-bikes equipped with SpeedBox products must not be used on roads, bike paths, or in public areas.E-bikes equipped with SpeedBox products may only be used on private property, and entirely at your own risk.The use of SpeedBox products may void your e-bike´s warranty.We recommend the use of additional protective gear to avoid injuries.During short breaks, to continue riding smoothly, we recommend keeping one foot on the pedal to prevent the countdown from starting.For longer breaks, at least a partial countdown should be allowed.After a long ride, the countdown may take several minutes.Do not turn off the display until the countdown is complete.Tuning activation/deactivation must always be done before riding, never during the ride.We recommend not exceeding a speed of 35 km/h.We do not recommend updating your e-bike´s software.Please disable automatic updates in the Ebike Flow app settings.Note:The SpeedBox product warranty does not cover malfunctions caused by a motor update. .
