Tuning Chip for E-Bikes with the Latest Bosch 5th Generation Motors with Smart System + Rim Magnet.SpeedBox 1.6 allows you to deactivate the speed limiter of your e-bike.If you want to monitor the correct speed and all ride data during your trip, we recommend purchasing the SpeedBox 1.6 B.Tuning for Bosch - you can track real riding values using our SpeedBox App, directly on your phone screen.How does SpeedBox 1.6 for Bosch work?.To activate all SpeedBox functions correctly, once the e-bike is turned on with the SpeedBox installed, you must access the wheel circumference value in the menu if your e-bike has older firmware.Tuning must always be activated/deactivated before riding, never during the ride!.To activate the SpeedBox 1.6 chip, briefly enable the WALK function on your e-bike´s control unit (press and hold the ´´-´´ button).The display will briefly show 3.5 km/h (2.2 mph) - from that moment on, you can ride at a speed of 35 km/h.You can adjust the default speed limit to any value (up to 99 km/h), but to minimize the risk of error codes, we recommend not exceeding 35 km/h.To deactivate the chip function, re-enable the WALK function (press and hold the ´´-´´ button).The display will show 2.5 km/h (1.6 mph), and the 25 km/h speed limit will be reactivated.The e-bike will function just as it did before installing the chip.We´ve also considered e-bikes without an available or active WALK function.In that case, you can activate or deactivate tuning by pressing the buttons in the following sequence:´´- + - +´´.Changing the Maximum Assisted Speed.You can change the maximum assist speed again by switching modes from TURBO down three levels and then up three levels.eMTB - TOUR+ - ECO - TOUR+ - eMTB - TURBO.The current speed limit will then be displayed.To change the limit, briefly press the WALK function or rotate the wheel 360°.A screen reading of 2.5 km/h corresponds to a 25 km/h limit, 3.5 to 35 km/h, etc.The last displayed limit will be saved after 15 seconds of inactivity.Important:End of Ride Procedure.When using SpeedBox, the e-bike must remain powered on after the ride until the screen displays a steady 0.0 km/h.During this phase, the display will show the remaining countdown time.After this, the bike can be safely turned off, and you´ll be ready for the next ride.Installation.To connect the SpeedBox chip to your e-bike, we use color-coded connectors with a key for proper alignment - making installation very easy.You can download installation instructions or watch video guides.Removing the chip is just as easy as installing it.If you encounter any connection issues, don´t hesitate to contact us.If you want to install SpeedBox on a new e-bike, you must first ride at least 10 km on the bike.Important Notes.Connect the male and female connectors in the direction of the locking key.Do not twist the connectors during connection!.Disclaimer.Please note that using modified e-bikes on public infrastructure may violate the laws in some countries.The manufacturer is not responsible for any damages resulting from the use of SpeedBox products.E-bikes equipped with SpeedBox products must not be used on public roads, bike paths, or public areas.Such bikes are intended only for use on private property and at your own risk.Using SpeedBox products may void your e-bike´s warranty.We recommend using additional protective gear to avoid injury.For short breaks, to continue riding smoothly, we suggest keeping one foot on the pedal so that the countdown does not begin.For longer breaks, allow at least a partial countdown.After a long ride, the countdown may take several minutes.Do not turn off the display until the countdown is complete.Tuning must always be activated/deactivated before riding, never during the ride.We recommend not exceeding a speed of 35 km/h.We do not recommend updating the software.Please disable automatic updates in the Ebike Flow app settings.Note:The SpeedBox product warranty does not cover malfunctions caused by a motor firmware update.
