Tuning chip for electric bikes with the latest 4th generation Bosch motors with Smart System + Rim Magnet.SpeedBox 1.3 allows you to deactivate the speed limiter of your electric bike.If you want to monitor the correct speed and all riding data during your trip, we recommend purchasing the SpeedBox 1.3 B.Tuning for Bosch - you can monitor actual ride values via our SpeedBox App - directly on your phone screen.How does SpeedBox 1.3 for Bosch work?.To activate all functions of SpeedBox properly, after switching on the e-bike with SpeedBox installed, go into the menu and access the wheel circumference value, especially if your bike has older firmware.Tuning activation/deactivation must always be done before riding the bike, not while riding!.To activate the SpeedBox 1.3 chip, briefly enable the WALK function on the e-bike control unit (hold the ´´-´´ button).The e-bike display will briefly show 3.5 km/h (2.2 mph), and from that moment you can ride up to 35 km/h.You can change the default speed limit to any value (up to 99 km/h), but to minimize the risk of error codes, we recommend not exceeding 35 km/h.To deactivate the chip function, reactivate the WALK function (hold the ´´-´´ button again).The display will show 2.5 km/h (1.6 mph) and the 25 km/h speed limit will be restored.The e-bike will function as it did before the chip was installed.We also considered e-bikes without an available or active WALK function.In that case, you can activate or deactivate tuning by switching between two modes twice - pressing the ´´- + - +´´ buttons.You can change the maximum assistance speed again by switching modes from TURBO down three levels and then back up three levels:eMTB - TOUR+ - ECO - TOUR+ - eMTB - TURBO.The current speed limit will then be displayed.To change the maximum speed, briefly press the WALK function or spin the wheel 360°.Display of 2.5 km/h corresponds to a 25 km/h limit, 3.5 to 35 km/h, and so on.The last shown limit is saved after 15 seconds of inactivity.When using SpeedBox, the e-bike must remain switched on at the end of the ride until the display shows a steady 0.0 km/h.During this phase, the screen shows the remaining time.After that, the bike can be safely turned off and you can look forward to your next ride.Installation.To connect the SpeedBox chip to your e-bike, we use color-coded connectors equipped with a locking key to ensure proper connection, making installation very easy.You can download the instructions or watch videos that guide you through installing SpeedBox.Removing the chip is just as easy as installing it.If you encounter any connection issues, feel free to contact us.If you want to use SpeedBox on a brand new bike, you must ride at least 10 km on it first.Important.Connect the male and female connectors in the direction of the lock.Do not twist the connectors during connection!.Notice.Please note that using modified electric bikes on public roads may conflict with legislation in some countries.The manufacturer is not responsible for any damages resulting from the use of SpeedBox products.E-bikes equipped with SpeedBox products must not be used on roads, cycle paths, or public areas.They are intended for use only on private property and at your own risk.Using SpeedBox products may void your e-bike´s warranty.We recommend using additional protective equipment to avoid injuries.During short breaks, to continue riding smoothly, we recommend keeping one foot on the pedal to prevent the countdown from starting.For longer breaks, at least a partial countdown should be allowed.After long rides, the countdown may take several minutes.Do not turn off the display until the countdown has finished.Tuning activation/deactivation must always be done before riding, not while in motion.We recommend not exceeding a speed of 35 km/h.We do not recommend updating the motor software.Please disable automatic updates in the Ebike Flow app settings.Note that the SpeedBox product warranty does not cover malfunctions caused by a motor firmware update.
