Energy gel formulated with maltodextrin and fructose in a 10:8 ratio, providing high amounts of carbohydrates, in 44 g formats. They contain sodium, are suitable for vegans and are available in six flavours and two sizes. High Fructose Gel carries the seal of the Cologne List, the world's first and largest doping prevention platform for nutritional supplements. The Cologne List only includes rigorously tested products to ensure thorough analyses and labelling checks to make sure that the manufacturers do not use any prohibited substances included in the WADA (World Anti-Doping Agency) list.High Fructose Gel is formulated with maltodextrin and fructose in a 10:8 ratio. Each 80 g gel provides 55 g of carbohydrates and 250 mg of sodium. The 44 g XS format provides 30 g of carbohydrates and 140 mg of sodium. This formulation, based on multiple transportable carbohydrates, has shown through studies that during extended exercise, the use of carbohydrates that are absorbed in the intestine by different transporters is the only way to increase the rate of assimilation and oxidation of exogenous carbohydrates above 60 g/hour To that end, researchers confirm that the ideal thing is to combine sources of carbohydrates. We opted for Maltodextrin, to control molecular weight/osmolarity, the other one being Fructose.Maltodextrin:- Unlike glucose, it needs to be broken down, which results in a more gradual and sustained source of energy.- It has a high glycemic index, achieving a rapid increase in blood glucose without necessarily having an excessively sweet taste that could be overwhelming in this type of product.- As it is a carbohydrate chain, it has a high molecular weight that leads to a much more concentrated osmolarity solution, improving digestion and reducing the secondary gastrointestinal effects.Fructose:- Fructose is a monosaccharide, the simplest form in which we find carbohydrates.
