This extra tough, stainless material will not corrode or rust as most other ceramic hybrids on the market will. While every other ceramic bearing rolls best the day you install it and then declines, XD15 bearings actually improve over time and become smoother.XD15 bottom bracket bearings have an angular contact design to ensure smooth rolling, full ball contact, and are designed to work with the Pre-Load systems that every crank uses now. They are pressed into precision-machined cups, guaranteeing accurate alignment when installed into your BSA threaded frame. We are so confident that we offer these bottom brackets with a lifetime warranty, which even covers wear and corrosion (the most common source of eventual failure).Depending on the BB cup spline design and what you have in your shop, you may need one of our Pro Tools for installation.Since these bearings are 15º Angular Contact design, they require a light preload to guarantee the best adjustment.
