The challenges associated with mountain bike pivots. MAX-type bearings provide 35-40% more load capacity than standard radial bearings by utilizing a special design where the maximum number of balls are inserted into the bearing, via a custom ground slot in the races. The additional balls, combined with deep race grooves in these bearings provide greater lateral support for the twisting and multi-directional forces associated with mountain bike pivots. This bearing also features an extended inner race that eliminates the need for extra spacers to connect suspension linkages.Solid-Lube bearings feature a unique solid, lubricant-infused polymer that replaces the grease inside of the bearing, eliminating any space for water or dirt to gather inside of the bearing. This MAX-type, bearing features 52100 High-Carbon Chromium alloy races paired with grade 10 Balls. Enduro engineers all of our radial bearings with deeper grooves to accommodate the largest balls possible, providing maximum bearing contact area and greatly increased bearing life.Enduro Solid-Lube BBs carry a two year warranty against corrosion. This size bearing has been used as a suspension pivot bearing by a number of bicycle brands including Pivot. The Enduro line of bearings are available in high-carbon chromium steel, 440C stainless steel, ceramic-hybrid and XD15 with ceramic or stainless balls.
