The Tech 4 uses an all-new internal seal to reduce friction and the lever rotates on ball bearings, minimizing spring work, resulting in a lighter lever action that reduces rider fatigue and maintains our legendary modulation and feel. The updated V4 caliper uses hybrid-style stainless steel pistons with a phenolic insert that allows for smoother movement and less maintenance, while still being able to handle high temperatures without heat transfer during extreme use.Features:- 30% increase in stopping power over a Tech 3.- Redesigned lever design with a more ergonomic shape aimed at achieving a linear relationship between brake pressure and lever force, making modulation more intuitive.- Articulated clamp reduces weight and improves ergonomics.- Greater integration with the shifter for a better fit.- Tool-less reach and tension adjustment- Hybrid piston design- One-piece CNC machined caliper- Clamps compatible with most of today's Sram and Shimano shifters- Postmount mounting options
