The latest 240 Hybrid hub incorporates special components like the DT Swiss Ratchet EXP® OS system with 30 teeth to ensure reliable power transmission from both the rider and the motor to the ground. The drive side bearing is bigger and the hub flange is enlarged. The spoke holes are expanded, purpose-built for 2.34 mm DT Swiss spokes, which deliver enhanced resistance to acceleration and braking torques. Crafted from hardened steel, the freehub system further reinforces the hub´s resilience, allowing for extended and trouble-free eMTB rides.Hub:- Redesigned hub shell with larger flanges specifically adapted for the DT Swiss 2.34 mm spokes.Steel Freehub Body:- The cassette interface of the freehub body is optimized with a specific hardened steel for the higher loads that occur on eMTBs.Ratchet Exp Os:- The Ratchet EXP OS features a bigger bearing and an increased number of teeth compared to the previous Hybrid freehub system.Brake Interface:- The brake interface is available in Center Lock or IS (6 bolt).Brake Interface:- The advantage of the Center Lock system is that the disc brake attachment is made with one single lock ring, which facilitates assembly.
