After the Eagle components have established themselves on the market, the Americans of SRAM 2018 are coming with the next big coup for the further optimization of mountain bike drives. DUB boost technology not only simplifies the combination of crankshaft and bottom bracket, it also increases the durability of the bottom bracket. SRAM DUB boost cranks have a uniform shaft diameter of 28.99 millimeters. Thanks to various variants of the completely redesigned and better-sealed DUB boost bottom bracket, the cranks are compatible with all common bottom bracket housings. The aluminum crankshafts were also revised, which reduced the weight of the DUB boost crank sets compared to their predecessors.Through the use of the carbon tuned manufacturing process, the wall thickness of the X01 Eagle DUB boost crank could be selected at all points so that it has a very high rigidity and is still an absolute lightweight. In contrast to the XX1 Eagle, the X01 crank is designed to be even more robust so that it can also withstand the stresses of tough enduro use. The crank is supplemented by the new X-Sync 2 Direct Mount chainrings. These impress with a significantly quieter running of the chain and better self-cleaning in muddy conditions. With the proven alternating thick-thin tooth profile, which is matched to the X01 Eagle chain, the X-Sync 2 chainrings always hold the chain securely in place. The crank is delivered with a 32 tooth chainring. You can find retrofit chainrings with 30 to 38 teeth in our shop.
